argentina’s automotive market is seeing a flurry of financing options from Stellantis brands as automakers aim to bolster end-of-year sales. Despite a recent monthly decline in vehicle registrations, overall sales for 2024 are significantly up compared to the previous year, signaling a recovering market. Now, Citroën, Peugeot, Fiat, Jeep, RAM, and DS are all offering a range of promotional financing rates-including several 0% options-to attract buyers during this key sales period. These incentives come amid ongoing economic considerations for consumers in the region.
Stellantis is rolling out a series of financing options across its brands in Argentina as the automotive market seeks to close out a year of recovery. The move comes as automakers look to stimulate end-of-year sales in a key emerging market.
Citroën is leading the charge, offering 0% annual interest financing for up to 36 months on its entire lineup. This promotion follows a November that saw 34,905 vehicle registrations, a 33.2% decrease from October and a 3.6% drop compared to November 2023, according to data from the Asociación de Concesionarios de Automotores de la República Argentina (Acara).
Despite the monthly decline and year-over-year comparison, overall sales remain strong, with 587,666 vehicles sold year-to-date – a 49.7% increase over the same period in 2023, Acara data shows.
Citroën’s “Tasa Express” financing provides 0% TNA for up to 36 months across all models. Specific offers are also available for the Aircross Feel PK T200, with financing options up to $20,000,000 at 0% interest for 24 months, and for the Basalt, Aircross, and Jumpy models, offering up to $20,000,000 at 0% for 18 months. A “Tasa Simple” line is also available at 9.9% interest for 18 months, financing up to $22,000,000.
Peugeot, another Stellantis brand, is offering a simple interest rate of 19.9% for 18 months on financing up to $22,000,000 across its entire range. Select models – including the Expert, 3008, 5008, and 408 – qualify for financing up to $32,000,000 at a 13% TNA for 12 months. The Boxer utility vehicle can also be financed up to $45,000,000 under the same terms. For the 208, Partner, and 2008 models, UVA-linked loans are available at 0% interest for 24 months up to $24,000,000, or at 12.9% TNA for 36 months up to $26,000,000.
Fiat’s campaign includes 0% UVA-based financing for 24 months up to $12 million across its entire lineup, with a special offer on the Cronos model featuring 0% financing for 18 months up to $15 million.
Jeep is offering a fixed rate of 0% for 18 months up to $10 million for the Renegade, Compass, and Commander, alongside a UVA line at 0% for 12 months up to $30 million. RAM is also participating with a fixed rate of 0% for 18 months up to $10 million on the Rampage model. DS is offering 0% TNA financing for 12 months up to $30,000,000 for its entire range, or $45,000,000 at 12.9%. The DS7 model is available with a UVA credit offering financing up to $40,000,000 at 0% in 12 months.
