The Emirati floating hospital in El Arish, Egypt, has received seven new medical cases from the Gaza Strip, bringing the total number of patients treated under Operation “Faris Al Shams 3” to 73, according to verified reports.
The patients arrived through the Rafah border crossing, which reopened in early February, and were immediately assessed by medical teams upon arrival. Comprehensive examinations and evaluations were conducted to determine appropriate treatment plans for each case.
The facility provides a full range of medical services, including diagnostics, surgical procedures, physiotherapy sessions, and dialysis treatments, tailored to meet the needs of patients coming from Gaza. These services aim to improve health outcomes and ensure continuous monitoring of their conditions.
The hospital is operated by a specialized Emirati medical and administrative team, working in collaboration with an Indonesian medical team. Both teams work around the clock to maintain high standards of care and ensure uninterrupted delivery of medical services.
Since its reopening, the floating hospital has become a key component of ongoing humanitarian efforts to support Palestinians in Gaza, reflecting sustained medical assistance from the United Arab Emirates.
