EU-Startups, a leading online media brand focused on the European startup ecosystem, has been acquired by MeOut Group, a Budapest-based organization specializing in innovation, education, and entrepreneurship, as of today, November 11, 2025.

Founded in October 2010, EU-Startups has published over 12,700 articles and hosted numerous events across Europe, becoming a key resource for founders, investors, and industry professionals. The acquisition aims to bolster the growth of the EU-Startups brand and expand its impact on the European tech landscape. This consolidation reflects a broader trend of media companies seeking strategic partnerships to navigate a challenging market.

The current CEO of EU-Startups will remain in his role following the acquisition, alongside the existing team, and operations will continue from their Barcelona office. MeOut Group, which also has a presence in Brussels and Copenhagen, shares a vision for amplifying Europe’s entrepreneurial spirit, connecting stakeholders from across the continent. The company has been actively involved in EU projects related to innovation and entrepreneurship, as detailed on their official website.

EU-Startups has played a significant role in fostering connections within the European startup community, with a substantial online following – over 48,000 Facebook fans, 45,500 X followers, 130,000 LinkedIn followers, and 75,000 newsletter subscribers – and a monthly readership of approximately 300,000.
