Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition Lands on Nintendo Switch

In a surprise move, the critically acclaimed action-adventure game *tomb Raider: Definitive Edition* has launched on both Nintendo Switch and the forthcoming Nintendo Switch 2 [[1]], [[2]], [[3]].Developed by Crystal Dynamics and ported to the Switch platforms by Aspyr, this release brings Lara Croft’s origin story to a wider Nintendo audience with a remastered experience including all DLC and extras [[2]]. Currently available on the Nintendo eShop for a limited-time price of $17.99,the game marks the latest addition to a growing library of classic *Tomb Raider* titles available on Nintendo consoles.

Aspyr has unexpectedly released Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition for Nintendo Switch and a forthcoming Nintendo Switch 2.

The first installment in the Tomb Raider reboot trilogy, developed by Crystal Dynamics, is now available in the Nintendo eShop for $19.99. As a launch promotion, the game is offered at a reduced price of $17.99 through November 24.

This remastered edition includes the original 2013 adventure, all subsequent downloadable content, multiplayer functionality, and digital extras such as the Tomb Raider: The Beginning comic from Dark Horse, the Tomb Raider: The Art of Survival art book, and the Final Hours of Tomb Raider documentaries.

Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition was previously released on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in January 2014, and on PC in April 2014. The availability of the title on Nintendo platforms expands access to this critically acclaimed action-adventure game.
