Norway’s Henrik Kristoffersen leads the way after the first run of the Adelboden World Cup slalom, clocking a time of 56.65. He was closely followed by fellow Norwegian Atle Lie McGrath (56.93) and young Finn Eduard Hallberg (56.94) on a challenging course with a notoriously difficult final pitch. The Italian team faced a tough morning, struggling to find their rhythm. Alex Vinatzer was the top Italian performer, finishing 20th in 58.17, but well off the pace. Tobias Kastlunger posted a time of 58.82, while Tommaso Sala finished outside the cutoff for the second run with a time of 59.38.

The men’s slalom race continues in Adelboden following an exciting event in Madonna di Campiglio. The world’s top slalom skiers are battling it out on the Swiss slopes, where consistency will be key. The second run is scheduled for 1:30 PM local time, with live coverage on RaiPlay and RaiNews.it. The first run will also be broadcast live on Rai 2, while the second run at 1:30 PM will be shown on Rai Sport.
Women’s Super-G in Zauchensee Canceled
The women’s Super-G race in Zauchensee has been canceled. Heavy overnight snowfall and strong winds at the top of the course led race organizers to call off the event in the Austrian resort. The downhill race held yesterday was also impacted by challenging weather conditions.
