The Italian game show Affari Tuoi has been generating buzz with a recent exchange between host Stefano De Martino and dancer Martina Miliddi, as well as some pointed comments regarding Herbert Ballerina’s absence.
On January 19, De Martino introduced Miliddi as a replacement for Ballerina, joking, “I had asked Rai for a ballerina but they misunderstood and sent me Herbert Ballerina. Now that he’s not here, a ballerina has arrived.” A cardboard cutout of Ballerina with the message “back soon” was displayed in the studio, according to reports.
During an episode recorded on January 14, De Martino playfully remarked, “Herbert is missing. He’s fine and will return, the sign is clear. He will manage to express himself even through the cutout, let us know.” A recorded voice attributed to Ballerina was also played, stating, “I cook soups for the government, I make the ministrone.”
Miliddi, who was born in Cagliari on July 21, 2000 and is currently 25 years old, gained recognition for her appearance on the show Amici in 2020, specializing in Latin dance. She later joined television dance troupes and participated in Rosario Fiorello’s Viva Rai2, as well as appearing in Checco Zalone’s record-breaking film Buen Camino, where she danced in the music video for “Prostata enflamada.”
Recent episodes have seen some friction between De Martino and Ballerina. According to reports, Ballerina reportedly stated, “It’s a disgrace,” in reference to the situation. De Martino also reportedly expressed his surprise at Miliddi’s performance, saying, “It’s incredible.”
Affari Tuoi continues to draw attention with its blend of game show format and celebrity appearances, a popular formula in Italian television. In a separate incident, Fedra, another contestant, reportedly left De Martino surprised with her reaction, stating, “Now I can’t do it.”
