Apple TV+ is set to reunite with Anya Taylor-Joy for a new action thriller titled Lucky, slated to premiere on July 15th. The announcement comes less than a year after the actress starred in the platform’s action film, The Gorge, alongside Miles Teller.

Lucky is based on the novel of the same name by Marissa Stapley. The plot follows Lucky as she navigates a dangerous escape: “When a million-dollar heist goes wrong, con artist Lucky (Anya Taylor-Joy) is forced to go on the run. Pursued by both the FBI and a ruthless crime boss, Lucky must fight for her life—and a way out.”
Joining Taylor-Joy in the cast are Annette Bening, Timothy Olyphant, Aunjanue Ellis-Taylor, and Drew Starkey. The series represents a continued investment in original action content for Apple TV+, which is increasingly competitive in the streaming landscape.
