Azerbaijani Gas Flow to Europe Via TAP Remains Stable Despite Order Fluctuations
The Trans-Adriatic Pipeline (TAP), a key artery for Azerbaijani natural gas deliveries to Europe, is maintaining consistent transmission levels despite minor variations in gas orders at various delivery points today.
According to data from TAP’s electronic platform, gas orders from the Kipoi exit point in Greece totaled over a significant volume on October 20, 2025. These fluctuations in demand are being closely monitored, but have not disrupted the overall flow of gas. This pipeline is a crucial component of Europe’s efforts to diversify its energy sources and reduce reliance on Russian gas.
The TAP pipeline extends from Greece, through Albania, and into Italy, providing a direct route for gas from Azerbaijan’s Shah Deniz field. For more information on energy infrastructure projects in Europe, see the International Energy Agency’s reports. The stability of this supply route is particularly important as winter approaches and energy demand increases.
Officials continue to assess the situation and ensure the pipeline’s operational capacity meets current and projected needs. You can learn more about the Trans-Adriatic Pipeline on the TAP AG website.
TAP representatives stated they are prepared to accommodate changing order volumes and maintain a reliable gas supply to European markets.
