Walmart Announces Multi-Phase Black Friday Sales Event Starting November 14
Walmart is launching its Black Friday sales in phases throughout November, beginning November 14 and extending through Cyber Monday, offering significant discounts on a wide range of products.
The retailer’s first event runs from November 14 to November 16, both online and in stores, with Walmart+ members gaining early access starting November 13 at 7 p.m. ET. A larger Black Friday event will then begin online on November 25 and run through November 30, with in-store deals available starting November 28 – Walmart locations will remain closed on Thanksgiving Day. Cyber Monday deals will follow on December 1, exclusively online. This staggered approach to Black Friday is becoming increasingly common as retailers attempt to spread out demand and avoid shipping bottlenecks.
Discounts of up to 60% are expected on items including vacuums, TVs, appliances, luggage, fashion, and toys. Already highlighted deals include a 98” TCL QLED 4K Google TV for $998 (reduced from $1,798), a three-piece luggage set for $81 (down from $400), and a Dyson V12 Detect Slim Cordless Vacuum Cleaner for $400 (originally $729). “For years, Walmart has owned Black Friday — and this year we’re proving why,” said John Furner, president and CEO of Walmart U.S. “We’re dropping up to 60% off top brands and offering thousands of deals under $20, making it clear: nobody does low prices like we do.” Becoming a Walmart+ member provides five hours of early access to these events, as well as benefits like free shipping and grocery delivery.
Walmart officials encourage shoppers to act quickly, as the most popular items are expected to sell out rapidly. For more information on holiday shopping and consumer protection, visit the Federal Trade Commission website.
Walmart will continue to announce additional deals and event details leading up to and throughout the holiday shopping season.
