Cazzu vs Christian Nodal: Dispute Over Song Lyric & Daughter Inti

A recent controversy has emerged between Christian Nodal and Cazzu following the release of Rauw Alejandro’s latest song, “Rosita.” The track includes the lyric “Yo me voy y me caso contigo a lo Christian Nodal” (“I’m leaving and marrying you Christian Nodal style”), which sparked a reaction from the Argentine singer.

Cazzu, whose real name is Julieta Cazzuchelli, shared a post on her blog alluding to a group of songwriters gathered in a studio “in Miami,” who were celebrating “the most uninspired phrase imaginable… I don’t know how many it took to create such a forgettable piece,” something she defined as “the legendary camaraderie between men.”

In the same post, Cazzu mentioned her daughter, Inti, leading to frustration from Nodal, who has previously described himself as a “man with a loving soul.”

What did Cazzu say after the release of ‘Rosita’?

In her writing, the artist behind ‘Mucha Data’ asserted that she is not “the victim of abandonment,” but rather her daughter is.

“A man with a loving soul isn’t the problem; the real conflict is called Chronicle of an Abandonment. And no, it’s not me who has been abandoned. Do I still follow him or not? (…) The real victim has a chubby face and skin as smooth as a little bun kneaded by God,” she wrote.

The escalating exchange between the artists highlights the often-public nature of celebrity relationships and the scrutiny they face. Later in the post, Cazzu referenced Inti, which angered Nodal.

“First a mother, then the owner of some enormous ovaries that swell and spit blood. Then the one with that title you like to give me, and finally… Julieta. The girl with convictions and ideals that you know well, the one they say is a victim. A victim, me?” the singer Cazzu wrote.

The Argentine artist as well lamented that “one of them”—apparently referring to Rauw Alejandro—had been a friend in the past and “given her a hug.” The two were publicly seen together in 2023, when the Puerto Rican artist was in a relationship with Rosalía.

The singer of ‘Desenfocao’ posted on X: “The gossip makes more noise than the art,” a phrase that Cazzu, who recently visited Mexico for her concerts, echoed in her post.

“Gossip sells more than art, one tweets, as if copying and pasting the first thought I had. He says it as if he weren’t part of it,” she added.

Christian Nodal responds to Cazzu

The most recent development in this dispute came from Christian Nodal, who sent a message to his ex-partner asking her not to involve their daughter in the discussion.

“A lot of drama over a line where it says someone falls in love quickly and gets married ‘Christian Nodal style’; it takes two brain cells to understand the reference to me, and it’s even as a jab at my reputation for being a loving soul,” the singer said, according to the program De Primera Mano.

The husband of Ángela Aguilar considered Cazzu’s reaction “excessive” and questioned why she would mention Inti when responding to “one of her colleagues.”

“Motherhood is sacred and should not be used as a shield when we don’t like something, let alone publicly involve my daughter in her narrative. She is not an argument, she is not a symbol or a flag, she is my baby. What the heck is my little one doing in that discourse?” the singer of ‘Dime cómo quieres’ concluded.
