Washington State Men’s Basketball Announces 33-Game Schedule for 2025-26 Season

The Washington State University men’s basketball team unveiled its 33-game schedule today, kicking off with an exhibition game against New Mexico on October 25, 2025, and concluding March 5, 2026.

The Cougars will officially begin their season November 3rd at Beasley Coliseum against the Idaho Vandals. WSU finished the 2024-25 season with an overall record of 19-15 and an 8-10 conference record, placing them sixth in the West Coast Conference. The upcoming schedule features a challenging slate of conference matchups, including contests against top-ranked teams like Saint Mary’s and Gonzaga. A strong non-conference performance is crucial for NCAA tournament aspirations.

Key conference games include a road matchup at Portland on December 28, a team WSU defeated 92-70 last season, and a home game against Loyola Marymount University on January 2. The Cougars will also face Oregon State on January 4, a team that defeated WSU 82-74 last season. For a comprehensive look at college basketball standings and news, visit NCAA.com. The full schedule can be found on the official WSU Athletics website.

The team will close out the regular season with potential matchups against Pepperdine on February 28 or March 1. Coaches anticipate a competitive season within the WCC, with several teams vying for a conference championship and NCAA tournament berths.
