Heroes of the Storm received a modern live patch on April 20, 2026, introducing several updates to gameplay, and features.
The patch removed Unranked Mode entirely from the game. Respawn timers were adjusted, with players reaching level 22 seeing a return to 65-second respawn times.
Visual and audio elements were refreshed, including an updated homescreen and new startup music. A new mount, the Scrapper Mad Axe Mono Wheel, was also added to the game’s cosmetic offerings.
These changes were confirmed in the official patch notes released by Blizzard for the Heroes of the Storm live update on April 20, 2026.
