Remedy Entertainment’s action-adventure game Control: Ultimate Edition has officially launched on Apple devices, bringing the high-profile title to iPhone, iPad, and Mac users.
The release, reported on April 22, 2025, marks approximately six years since the game’s initial debut, which was noted for its demanding graphical requirements at launch.
Priced at $5 (around 7,300 KRW), the mobile version adopts a universal purchase model, allowing a single purchase to run across iPhone, iPad, and Mac platforms.
The edition includes all previously released downloadable content, specifically the “Foundation” and “AWE” expansions, delivering the complete experience on mobile.
To run the game, iPhone users require an iPhone 15 Pro or later model equipped with the A17 Pro chip or newer, including all iPhone 16 and 17 series devices. IPad compatibility requires either an M-series chip or A17 Pro chip in Air or Pro models. base-model iPads with the A16 processor are not supported.
Remedy has reworked the user interface and control scheme for touchscreen play, adjusting the aiming system and puzzle elements, though the company recommends connecting a physical controller for optimal performance.
Performance testing on supported hardware confirms smooth operation, leveraging the capabilities of recent Apple chipsets.
The launch strengthens Apple’s growing lineup of high-end AAA titles available natively on its devices, expanding access to graphically intensive gaming experiences beyond traditional consoles and PCs.
