PlayStation Plus subscribers will see an expanded game library in December, with Sony announcing five titles will be available for download starting December 2nd. Teh bolstered lineup-including *Lego Horizon Adventures*, *Killing Floor 3*, *Neon White*, *The Outlast Trials*, and *Synduality Echo of ada*-represents an increase from the standard three monthly offerings and underscores the growing importance of subscription services in the competitive gaming market [1], [2]. The games will be available to all three tiers of PS Plus membership-Essential,Extra,and Deluxe-through January 5th.

PlayStation Plus subscribers are set to receive a boosted lineup of free games this December, with five titles available instead of the usual three. Starting December 2, players with any tier of PS Plus membership – Essential, Extra, or Deluxe – will be able to download and play Lego Horizon Adventures, Killing Floor 3, Neon White, The Outlast Trials, and an unnamed third-person shooter.

All five games will remain available to PS Plus members across all subscription tiers until January 5. Current PS Plus monthly games for November – Stray, EA Sports WRC 24, and Totally Accurate Battle Simulator – are still available, but subscribers have until December 1 to add them to their game libraries. This expanded offering comes as the gaming industry continues to leverage subscription services to attract and retain players.

Lego Horizon Adventures

Released last year on PlayStation 5, PC, and Nintendo Switch, Lego Horizon Adventures offers a family-friendly take on the popular Horizon series. The game reimagines the story of the first Horizon installment, rebuilding the world of Horizon Zero Dawn with a Lego aesthetic.

Unlike Zero Dawn, Lego Horizon Adventures isn’t an open-world experience, instead featuring linear levels that follow Aloy’s story. The game also supports cooperative play for two players and will be available to PlayStation Plus subscribers on PlayStation 5.

Killing Floor 3

Tripwire Interactive’s first-person horror shooter, Killing Floor 3, joins the PlayStation Plus Essential tier in December. Released in July of this year, Killing Floor 3 can be played solo or in cooperative multiplayer for up to six players, tasking players with facing waves of zombie-like creatures across diverse maps.

Players can choose a specialization, customize their equipment, and unlock new skills as they progress. Killing Floor 3 is available to PS5 users.

The Outlast Trials

PS Plus will also add another horror title in December with The Outlast Trials. Serving as a prequel to Outlast and Outlast 2, the game is played from a first-person perspective and supports both single-player and cooperative multiplayer for up to four players.

In The Outlast Trials, players participate in deadly experiments after being captured within a facility. They must avoid enemies and traps while completing objectives to advance. The Outlast Trials will be available on both PS4 and PS5.

Neon White

Neon White is a unique first-person shooter that blends elements of puzzle and platforming with a distinctive art style. Developed by Angel Matrix, the game challenges players to complete a level filled with enemies as quickly as possible while playing as White, an assassin hunting demons in Heaven.

Neon White utilizes a unique card-based combat system, where “soul cards” can be collected and used as weapons before being discarded for special moves. Neon White will be available to PlayStation Plus subscribers on PS4 and PS5.

Synduality Echo of Ada

PS Plus has also added Synduality Echo of Ada, a third-person shooter, to its December lineup. The game is set in 2222, following a global disaster that left the Earth covered in toxic rain, forcing humanity to live underground. Survivors must venture to the surface to collect a rare resource known as AO crystals.
