Dreame, the company best known for its robotic vacuum cleaners, is making a surprising foray into the automotive industry. The Chinese firm plans to unveil a lineup of vehicle models at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas in January, with a strikingly familiar design among them.

According to a report from Carscoops, Dreame’s new vehicle closely resembles the Bentley Bentayga luxury SUV. The design features a prominent, chrome-finished grille, flared wheel arches, the signature round headlights, and oval-shaped lighting elements. Chrome detailing is extensively used throughout the exterior.

While the overall silhouettes of the two vehicles are similar, Dreame’s iteration is slightly lower to the ground and exhibits a more extended rear overhang. This move into automotive production represents a significant diversification for Dreame, a company that has quickly gained market share in the home appliance sector.

The interior, visible in partial views, showcases leather seating, and is expected to include power-adjustable features consistent with other Dreame products. A lidar system mounted on the roof suggests the vehicle will incorporate semi-autonomous driving capabilities.

Dreame anticipates its Bentley Bentayga-inspired model will share a powertrain with its previously revealed Rolls-Royce Cullinan replica – featuring four electric motors and a 100 kWh battery pack. An air suspension system is also expected to be included.

This isn’t Dreame’s first attempt at automotive mimicry. The company has previously produced replicas of the Bugatti Chiron supercar, notably creating a four-door version of the iconic vehicle.
