The reality competition, a staple of German-language television, continues to draw attention for its interpersonal conflicts and grueling challenges.

The episode began with Samira Yavuz (32) and Umut Tekin (28) discussing a shared history of heartbreak, as Samira’s estranged husband, Serkan Yavuz (32), and Umut’s ex-girlfriend both appeared on the reality competition show “The Power” and engaged in what Samira described as an “intimate exchange.” “It was more than what you saw, there was something else happening in the bathroom,” Samira told her fellow camper.
Campmates Criticize Ariel’s Accent
However, Tekin quickly turned his attention to Ariel Hediger (22). “You like to stir things up, you need drama, you love it, right?” he asked. “Do you want to fight with me now? Are you embarrassing yourself?” Ariel fired back. When Umut then told the Swiss contestant how “embarrassing” her High German accent was, she exploded.

Tekin remained unimpressed by Hediger’s outburst. “You’re looking for drama, first with Eva Benetatou (33), then with Patrick Romer (30), Gil Ofarim (43), and now with me. Is this your plan, to cause trouble and fight? Do you need the screen time? You have no respect.” He then revealed a claim that, via FaceTime before arriving in Australia, Ariel had suggested staging a romance with him, believing the show needed more than just the drama between Samira and Eva. “I swear on everything that you asked me!” Ariel was shocked, vehemently denying the story and assuring her ally Samira that Umut wasn’t her type.
The tension didn’t end there, as Eva also became a target of Ariel’s frustration. “I’m here on my own merit and not because I slept with a married man. You’re sitting here with pride and honor. I would be ashamed. You don’t sleep with married men. You should be glad you didn’t sleep with mine. I would have reacted differently than Samira.”
Eva, however, didn’t appreciate the intervention, stating she didn’t want things to “escalate” and preferred to handle her own issues.

Ariel Refuses Challenge as Team Goes Hungry
The strained atmosphere in camp—and between Ariel, Eva, and Gil—proved detrimental during the “Kotzella-Festival” challenge. Before the challenge, Eva brought up Ariel’s role as a mother, which prompted another outburst: “My children are at home and have nothing to do with this. Don’t talk about my child.”
During the challenge itself, Ariel explained, “Everyone on the team is hungry, I’m hungry, and I’m incredibly sorry, but I can’t be unfaithful to myself. And I can’t work with people who don’t even come close to representing my moral values. I can’t accept it when Eva brings my child into the equation on the way to the challenge.” Eva pleaded with her, “I wasn’t talking about your child, I was talking about your values! Please, do it for all of us as a team.”
However, Ariel stood firm, and the camp will continue to wait for stars. Will the celebrities be forced to endure empty stomachs? It’s likely, as viewers voted for Ariel to face another challenge.
