Franjo von Allmen of Switzerland secured his third gold medal of the games, winning the super-G with a time of 1 minute and 25.32 seconds. The victory solidifies von Allmen’s dominant performance at the Milano Cortina 2026 Winter Olympics.

Von Allmen previously triumphed in the downhill and the men’s team combined events. This latest win further cements his status as a leading alpine skier.

American Ryan Cochran-Siegle claimed the silver medal in the super-G, finishing just behind von Allmen. He also earned a silver medal in the same event at the 2022 Beijing Olympics. Bronze went to another Swiss racer, Marco Odermatt.

Cochran-Siegle was 0.13 seconds slower than the gold medalist, while Odermatt trailed by 0.28 seconds.

Latvian skier Roberts Opmanis finished 35th in the competition, 6.73 seconds behind von Allmen, out of 42 competitors. A total of 37 skiers completed the course.

Andrei Draukarov of Lithuania placed 31st.

This was Opmanis’s second event at his first Olympic Winter Games. He previously finished 32nd in the downhill on Saturday.

The Milano Cortina Olympic Winter Games will continue through February 22nd.
