A new center dedicated to tuberculosis care opened at the Lille University Hospital (CHU de Lille) on January 5, 2026, offering free appointments for prevention, screening, monitoring, and treatment of tuberculosis infections. This expansion of services is crucial for public health, as tuberculosis remains a significant global concern.
Free Consultations Available at Lille Health Center
Located at Albert Calmette Hospital (1, boulevard du professeur Jules Leclercq), the new center, known as CLAT Grand Lille, provides “complete care” for tuberculosis. Authorized by the Regional Health Agency (ARS) Hauts-de-France, the center welcomes, informs, advises, and guides each patient through a care pathway led by healthcare professionals. This pathway includes medical imaging and biological sampling when necessary.
The center serves the areas of Lille, Tourcoing, Roubaix, Haubourdin, and Villeneuve d’Ascq, ensuring coordinated care for patients throughout the region.
“In close collaboration with healthcare professionals and Santé publique France, the CLAT network contributes to the epidemiological surveillance of tuberculosis, notably through the mandatory reporting of tuberculosis cases and monitoring of treatment outcomes,” officials stated.
Appointments at CLAT Grand Lille are free and available by calling 03.62.94.31.40 or emailing [email protected]. The center is open Monday through Friday, from 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM.
