HK Malmö secured their fourth consecutive victory Wednesday evening, defeating OV Helsingborg on the road 31-27 (12-14).
The match saw a spirited start from Helsingborg, led by Marcus Norrbrink, who quickly put points on the board. After 19 minutes of play, the score was tied at 10-10. This contest held significance as both teams jockey for position in the competitive Handbollsligan standings.
However, the second half proved decisive, with HK Malmö taking control and ultimately dominating the remainder of the game. They built a commanding 27-20 lead with just over ten minutes left to play, effectively sealing the win.
“It felt stable. We got the match where we wanted it,” commented Ebbe Håkansson to Handbollsligan Live after the final whistle.
