Gauvin, who describes herself as an entrepreneur and philanthropist, says she’s joining Survivor Québec to “prove that she is much more than the image of a wealthy man’s wife.” According to a press release, her biggest fear is being targeted “because she doesn’t need the money.”
This year, filming for Survivor Québec is taking place on the Las Perlas archipelago off the coast of Panama, a change from previous seasons filmed in the Philippines. Patrice Bélanger will return as host. Contestants range in age from 23 to 52, all vying for the grand prize of $100,000.
