Barcelona, Spain – Lenovo unveiled two modern Android tablets at Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2026, signaling the company’s continued focus on both ruggedized commercial devices and consumer-focused performance. The new additions to Lenovo’s tablet lineup are the ThinkTab X11, designed for demanding industrial and professional use and the Idea Tab Pro Gen 2, a performance-driven Android tablet with integrated artificial intelligence capabilities.
The ThinkTab X11 is engineered for challenging work environments such as logistics, manufacturing, construction, and field service. It features a durable design and a user-replaceable battery, eliminating the need for tools during maintenance. Meanwhile, the Idea Tab Pro Gen 2 boasts a larger display, the latest generation chipset, and integration of AI technology.
The ThinkTab X11 is a roughly 10.95-inch Android tablet powered by the Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 chipset, offering stable performance and power efficiency for a variety of tasks. The device meets MIL-STD-810H durability standards and carries an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance, ensuring it can withstand extreme conditions in the field.
A key feature of the X11 is its tool-less, screwless removable battery, simplifying maintenance and replacement when needed. The tablet also supports a battery-less mode, allowing it to be powered directly from an external source, such as when mounted in a vehicle or fixed workspace.
Connectivity on the X11 includes dual USB-C ports for charging and accessories, as well as NFC support for applications like tag reading or authentication in enterprise environments. Lenovo expects the commercially-focused tablet to be available in the second quarter of 2026, priced around USD $499, approximately Rp 7.7 million.
The second product announced is the Idea Tab Pro Gen 2, a new generation Android tablet featuring the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chipset, delivering increased performance compared to its predecessor. The tablet is equipped with up to 12GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage, with microSD support for expandable capacity.
The Idea Tab Pro Gen 2 features a 13-inch PureSight Pro display with a 3.5K resolution, a 144Hz refresh rate, a peak brightness of up to 800 nits, and 99% DCI-P3 color gamut coverage for an optimal visual experience.
Audio performance has also been enhanced with four JBL speakers and Dolby Atmos support. The Idea Tab Pro Gen 2 is the first Lenovo device to integrate Lenovo’s Qira AI platform, providing features such as live transcription, a Smarter Reader function, and Smart AI Input to boost productivity for learning and work. This integration highlights the growing trend of embedding AI directly into consumer devices.
The tablet will run Android 16 and receive OS updates through Android 18, along with four years of security updates. It will launch in July 2026 in color options including Luna Grey, Cloud Grey, and Jelly Mint, starting around EUR €549, approximately Rp 9.2 million.
