2025 NYC Marathon Set to Take Place Sunday with Extensive Road Closures
The 2025 TCS New York City Marathon will be held this Sunday, November 2nd, impacting traffic and transportation across all five boroughs.
The 26.2-mile race is scheduled to begin at 8 a.m. in Staten Island, proceeding through Brooklyn, Queens, and Manhattan before finishing in Central Park. Participants received notification regarding their entry status on March 5th. The marathon is a major economic driver for the city, bringing in millions of dollars in revenue and attracting visitors from around the globe.
Significant road closures will be in effect starting at 7 a.m. on Sunday and lasting until at least 4 p.m., affecting numerous streets and bridges.
