Swatch is set to launch its new Moonswatch “Cold Moon” model on Thursday, December 4, 2025, with availability continuing through March 20, 2026 – the last day of winter. However, the release comes with a unique condition tied to the weather.

The highly anticipated Moonswatch Cold Moon will retail for 350 Swiss Francs and features a white design. The watch boasts both a moon phase and an earth phase display, offering a touch of cosmic inspiration for wearers. The dial also showcases an illustration of Snoopy and Woodstock in astronaut suits, and a hidden message, “I beat everybody,” appears under UV light. The December 4th launch date coincides with the full moon – often referred to as the “Cold Moon” – occurring shortly after midnight on Friday. However, the availability of the watch extends beyond this date, with a planned sales window through March 20, 2026, contingent on weather conditions.

Although some precipitation is expected over the weekend, Meteoschweiz reports that the snow line is rising.
