Nitra has claimed the Tipsport Liga hockey championship, completing a stunning comeback to defeat HC Slovan Bratislava 4-3 in a decisive Game 7 that went to overtime on April 30, 2026.
The dramatic victory secures a third title for HK Nitra in Slovakia’s top hockey league. After dropping the first three games of the series, Nitra faced a daunting 3-1 deficit, but rallied to force a seventh and final game.
