Czech President Petr Pavel, known for his active hobbies alongside his diplomatic duties, is now offering a glimpse into another passion: motorsports photography. A collection of thirteen signed canvases, featuring images from events like the Dakar Rally adn Czech circuits, is going up for auction with a philanthropic aim. Proceeds from the auction, held on dobrobot, will directly benefit the Eva Pavel Foundation, supporting families and children in need, and ultimately raised nearly 870,000 Czech Koruna.
President Petr Pavel, known for his diplomatic work and official duties, is also a passionate motorsports enthusiast. Unlike many dignitaries, he’s often found among the fans with a camera in hand, enjoying the action up close.
Now, a collection of President Pavel’s stunning motorsports photography is heading to auction. Thirteen of his images have been printed on canvas and are available for bidding on Dobrobot.

The auction platform’s name is fitting, as all proceeds will benefit families and children in need through the Eva Pavel Foundation. Each of the 60x40cm canvases has been personally signed by President Pavel and will be handed over to the winning bidders next Monday, or shipped directly to their homes – just in time for the holidays.

The collection features striking shots from the Dakar Rally – where Pavel became the first Czech president to attend – as well as scenes from local circuits like Brno and Most. Images from smaller tracks like Sosnová and Vysoké Mýto are also included.

A bird takes flight!
The auction of President Pavel’s photographs generated a total of 668,555 Czech Koruna. In addition, calendars featuring his images were also sold, raising nearly 200,000 Koruna for the cause. The initiative ultimately raised a total of 868,500 Koruna for charity.
