LAPD Officers Injured in South LA Pursuit, Suspect Remains at Large
Four people, including two Los Angeles Police Department officers, were injured yesterday evening when a vehicle pursuit ended in a collision in South Los Angeles, and the suspect fled the scene.
The incident began around 11:30 p.m. on October 10, 2025, after a black SUV was reported stolen. During a subsequent pursuit, an LAPD vehicle with two officers inside collided with another vehicle at Avalon Boulevard and 98th Street. The LAPD confirmed that both officers sustained minor injuries. The condition of the other individuals involved in the crash remains unknown as of this morning.
The driver of the stolen SUV was able to escape following the collision and is currently not in custody.
