Düsseldorf, December 16, 2025 – Ubisoft announced today that Rainbow Six® Mobile, a free-to-play tactical first-person shooter for iOS and Android devices, will launch worldwide on February 23, 2026. The game brings the popular Rainbow Six franchise to mobile platforms, tapping into the growing demand for competitive, on-the-go gaming experiences.
Developed by Ubisoft Montreal* in collaboration with Ubisoft Studios Winnipeg, Halifax, Bucharest, and Chengdu, Rainbow Six Mobile aims to deliver an authentic Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six® experience. Players will engage in 5-versus-5 PvP matches, taking on the roles of attackers or defenders. Attackers utilize reconnaissance drones for intel gathering and strategically breach destructible walls, floors, and ceilings, while defenders fortify access points and deploy surveillance cameras and traps to hold their positions. The combination of strategy and teamwork promises intense close-quarters combat as teams alternate between offensive and defensive roles.
Designed specifically for mobile, Rainbow Six Mobile introduces new features exclusive to the platform while retaining core elements from Rainbow Six Siege. The game will include:
- Game modes: Bomb, Bomb Rush, and Team Deathmatch
- Over 20 playable Operators, including Ash, Mute, Dokkaebi, and more
- Iconic maps such as Bank, Border, Clubhouse, Oregon, Villa, as well as Restaurant and Summit – with the latter two maps being exclusive to the mobile version
- An onboarding tutorial covering the fundamental mechanics of Rainbow Six
- Private, Ranked, and Quick Match options
- New content with each season
Rainbow Six Mobile is currently available in Poland, France, Canada, and throughout Latin America.
