Salman Khan Shares Ripped Physique, Reveals Fitness Secrets

Bollywood star Salman Khan sparked excitement among fans yesterday, November 3, by posting a shirtless photo on Instagram showcasing his impressive physique, and has since revealed the surprisingly traditional methods behind his fitness regimen.

Khan’s trainer of over 20 years, Rakkesh R Uddiyar, detailed the actor’s approach, emphasizing an “old-school, typical bodybuilding regime called the giant set.” This involves a High-Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) workout with minimal rest, performed without air conditioning. “He performs about 10 different variations of chest exercises…he moves to the next without a break,” Uddiyar explained, noting Khan focuses on volume training rather than heavy weightlifting. Maintaining a healthy physique is particularly important for actors who often perform physically demanding roles.

The routine is remarkably efficient, completed within 45 minutes to an hour with only brief walking breaks between exercises. Khan also prioritizes a disciplined lifestyle, beginning each day with fasted cardio and incorporating weight training whenever possible, stating, “Without weight training and cardio, he won’t sleep.” He works out six days a week, adjusting the schedule for shooting commitments but never skipping weight training.
