A heated exchange erupted on the set of the Hungarian cooking competition Séfek Séfe (Chefs’ Chefs) when former reality star Princess Szabina, known as Dancsi Szabina from A Nagy Ő (The One), appeared in the kitchen, according to reports from February 17, 2026.
The drama unfolded as the 46-year-old contestant, Tajti József, was preparing a Japanese dish for the judges. Tajti, who claimed to be “the Hungarian Gordon Ramsay,” boldly declared, “Others say I’m just as decent a cook, but just as much of a peasant.” He revealed a history of working in kitchens across Europe, including a stint as head chef at a successful hotel in Berlin, and cooking for international celebrities.
Tajti also expressed frustration with the Hungarian job market, believing employers prioritize appearances over skill and are intimidated by his potential salary demands. He then made controversial remarks about female chefs, stating, “I’ve worked with a lot of female chefs around the world, and in every country it’s been proven they can’t work as well as men. Not because they’re women, but because they always have problems. Like, when they’re menstruating, they have cramps, ‘I can’t do this, I can’t do that’…”
The situation escalated when a knife was presented as a necessary tool for the competition. Princess Szabina reportedly became visibly distressed, “screaming and jumping” to avoid contact with the blade. According to reports, she exclaimed, “I love them, I love everyone. Please sir, thank you! Little knife!”
Chef Krausz Gábor, a judge on the show, was visibly overwhelmed by the scene, covering his ears and attempting to distance himself. Meanwhile, Tajti continued to comment on the judges’ feedback as they tasted his dish. When Krausz asked his fellow judges if Tajti was a true professional, Tischler Petra responded bluntly, “No.”
Tajti retorted, “Well, f*** it, I knew the blonde would bring me down, but what do you expect from a woman?” He then elaborated on his experience, stating, “I just wanted to present something to Mr. Frigyes that he could supply an opinion on, because I care about the opinions of real professionals, not fake chefs who come into the kitchen from car repair or are promoted from dishwashing, and then can’t deliver a product.”
Despite the chaos, Tajti ultimately received a knife from both Krausz and Vomberg, securing his place in the next round. Tischler Petra commented afterward, “My favorite part was that he looked me in the eye the whole time when he was talking about how fake the people working in the profession are. I held his gaze the whole time. Of course, he was talking about me…”
Tajti later spoke with the show’s host, Ördög Nóra, telling her, “Even though the blonde zapped me, it’s okay. I didn’t want to zap her back, because I’m a little empathetic and didn’t want her to go home crying…” He added that he didn’t expect to become best friends with Tischler.
