Louisville Plane Crash: Man Searches for Partner Missing Near Impact Site
Authorities are searching for a 45-year-old Louisville woman who may have been at an auto-parts store when a UPS cargo plane crashed shortly after takeoff yesterday, November 4th, 2025.
The woman’s boyfriend told reporters she had gone to Grade A Auto Parts to drop off scrap metal after work, around the time of the crash at Louisville Muhammad Ali International Airport. “I was like, ‘I don’t want to go, (you) go ahead,’” he said outside a family assistance center established at the Louisville police training academy. He and another man, who shares two children with the missing woman, are awaiting information.
Both men expressed deep concern for the woman’s well-being. “She’s all I got, so … I don’t know how this is going to turn out,” the boyfriend stated. The family assistance center has seen a “steady flow” of Louisville residents seeking information about loved ones, and the crash has prompted a large-scale emergency response. The Federal Aviation Administration investigates all civil aviation accidents, and their findings will be crucial in determining the cause of the crash.
Louisville Fire Department Chief Brian O’Neill described the scene as a “large-scale area” impacted by fire, stating crews will carefully search for additional victims as they work to contain the flames. Officials at the family assistance center have taken the men’s information and promised updates as they become available.
Authorities continue to assess the situation and are expected to provide further information as the search and investigation progress.
