The decision, handed down by the Bandung Religious Court, brings an end to nearly 29 years of marriage for the prominent couple. The case was heard electronically, with the final ruling delivered January 7, 2026.
Kamil confirmed the outcome of the proceedings in a statement, framing it as a matter of public accountability. “I, Ridwan Kamil, convey this statement as a form of moral responsibility and clarification to the public regarding the divorce decision with Atalia Praratya, which has been decided legally through a legal process in accordance with applicable laws and regulations,” he said.
