Amazfit Launches Smaller 44mm T-Rex 3 Pro Smartwatch Models

Amazfit has expanded its rugged smartwatch lineup today with the release of two 44mm versions of the T-Rex 3 Pro, offering a more compact option for outdoor enthusiasts.

The new T-Rex 3 Pro 44mm is available in Black Gold and Arctic Gold, and can be pre-ordered in the US for $399.99, with shipping expected to begin on October 31st. Customers purchasing directly from Amazfit’s online store will receive a 20% discount on accessories like the Up Open-Ear Earbuds or additional straps. In the UK and several European countries, including France, Spain, and Germany, the Black Gold model is available immediately for £399.90 and €399.90 respectively; however, the Arctic Gold version is currently out of stock in Europe. This release broadens the appeal of the T-Rex 3 Pro, a watch designed to withstand extreme conditions.

While maintaining a similar design to the previously released 48mm models – including a titanium bezel and buttons – the 44mm T-Rex 3 Pro features a smaller 1.32-inch AMOLED display compared to the 48mm’s 1.50-inch screen. Battery capacity is also reduced to 640 mAh, providing up to 19 days of battery life, versus the 48mm’s 700 mAh and 25-day estimate. Both sizes offer comprehensive features such as GPS tracking with six satellite systems, offline maps, over 180 sports modes, health monitoring, a built-in LED flashlight, and Bluetooth calling capabilities – features increasingly sought after by adventure travelers, as noted in recent reports on outdoor technology.

The T-Rex 3 Pro series is known for its durability and advanced tracking features, making it a popular choice for athletes and outdoor adventurers. Availability at major retailers like Amazon has not yet been confirmed.

Amazfit has not yet announced a restock date for the Arctic Gold model in Europe, but continues to accept pre-orders for the Black Gold version.

Two 44 mm versions of the Amazfit T-Rex 3 Pro smartwatch are now available in markets worldwide. They join the existing 48 mm variants, which were released in September 2025, with a similar design including titanium bezel and buttons.

You can now pre-order the T-Rex 3 Pro 44 mm Black Gold and the T-Rex 3 Pro 44 mm Arctic Gold for $399.99 in the US. Orders are due to ship from October 31st. At the brand’s online store, customers are offered a 20% discount on an accompanying accessory like the Up Open-Ear Earbuds, or a nylon or textured silicone strap.

In the UK, these two watches retail for £399.90 each, shipping immediately. In other European countries like France, Spain and Germany, the Black Gold version is available for €399.90. The Arctic Gold model is currently marked as out of stock, with no indication as to when it could launch in this market. For context, the pricing of these 44 mm watches across all regions matches that of the larger 48 mm versions.

There are a few differences between the two sizes of the T-Rex 3 Pro. The smaller version has a 1.32-inch AMOLED display, while the larger model has a 1.50-inch screen. The 44 mm also has a lower capacity battery, a 640 mAh power pack for up to 19 days of battery life; for comparison, the 48 mm watch has a 700 mAh battery and a longer estimated run time of 25 days.

Features of the Amazfit T-Rex 3 Pro include GPS tracking, with six satellite system positioning, offline maps and on-watch route planning. You can track your exercise with over 180 sports modes, such as Rucking and Diving, and monitor health metrics like heart rate and blood oxygen level. There is also an integrated LED flashlight offering two colors, and an integrated speaker and microphone enable Bluetooth calling. It is unclear when the Amazfit T-Rex 3 Pro 44 mm smartwatches will retailers like Amazon.
