Ducks Rally to Defeat Stars 7-5, Extend Winning Streak to Five

Anaheim Ducks forward Leo Carlsson scored the game-winning goal shorthanded in the third period yesterday, propelling his team to a 7-5 victory over the Dallas Stars.

Carlsson’s slap shot at 10:38 of the third gave the Ducks a 6-4 lead, assisted by Troy Terry. Chris Kreider scored twice, with additional goals from Cutter Gauthier, Olen Zellweger, Ian Moore, and a late empty-netter from Mason McTavish, securing Anaheim’s fifth consecutive win and their seventh victory in eight games.
