Notably, despite previous reports, the physician is completing the three-year training period required to become a family doctor. A Three-Year Struggle
The situation began with a recommendation from a friend who is an aesthetician. In late 2021, the aesthetician suggested the 68-year-old healthcare worker consult with the surgeon for cosmetic procedures. The surgery was performed under local anesthesia – an unusual approach for such invasive procedures – and payment was made in cash, totaling 10,000 euros. The patient’s recovery quickly turned into a nightmare, marked by wounds that wouldn’t heal and persistent pain. Three years later, a forensic medical evaluation revealed the severity of the situation: “She risked her life,” the expert told her.
The cosmetic surgeon is now under investigation for negligent injury, unauthorized practice of medicine, and falsification of documents. This case underscores the importance of thorough vetting of medical professionals and the potential consequences of complications arising from cosmetic surgery.
