Kałahur’s limited playing time this season suggests he may be open to a move as his contract with Lechia Gdańsk nears its expiration [[1]].
Polish First League side GKS Tychy are targeting Lechia Gdańsk defender Miłosz Kałahur to bolster their left flank this winter.
GKS Tychy have already confirmed five signings during the winter transfer window, adding Igor Łasicki, Daniel Sandoval, Paweł Łysiak, Piotr Krawczyk, and Bartłomiej Barański (on loan from Lech Poznań) to Łukasz Piszczek’s squad.
However, the club appears far from finished in the market, with several players reportedly being considered for a move to the Edukacji Stadium.
According to information shared on social media platform X, Kałahur is a key target for the First League outfit. The 26-year-old was previously linked with a transfer to Śląsk Wrocław last summer, but a deal ultimately failed to materialize.
Kałahur’s current contract with Lechia Gdańsk is set to expire at the end of June, and it’s unlikely to be renewed, prompting the player to explore his options during the current window.
The left-back is a product of Lechia Gdańsk’s youth academy, initially departing for Sandecja Nowy Sącz in July 2018. He subsequently played for Olimpia Elbląg and Resovia Rzeszów before returning to Gdańsk in the summer of 2023.
Since his return to Pomorze, Kałahur has made 61 appearances, registering one assist. He has featured in just five matches across all competitions this season, suggesting limited playing time with Lechia.
