Goop Kitchen Expands to Bay Area with Three New Locations

Gwyneth Paltrow’s Goop empire is expanding its culinary presence with the opening of three Goop Kitchen locations in the Bay Area – San Francisco, Sunnyvale, and San Jose – bringing the brand’s health-focused food concept to Northern California.

The San Francisco location, a takeout and delivery-only outpost, will be situated within a shared kitchen space at 60 Morris St. in SoMa and is scheduled to open on December 8. Goop Kitchen cofounder and CEO Donald Moore stated the company has “had its eye on the Bay Area for a while but wanted to expand thoughtfully,” adding, “The Bay Area has always felt like a natural home for Goop Kitchen.” This expansion marks a return to the San Francisco market for Paltrow, following the brief closure of a Goop Lab retail store in 2020.

Goop Kitchen, which first launched in Santa Monica in 2021, focuses on “clean” eating, offering a menu free of gluten, refined sugars, processed foods, seed oils, corn, peanuts, and preservatives – adhering to Paltrow’s well-known wellness standards. The seasonal menu features items like a fall harvest chopped salad and a delicata squash pizza.
