Lisa Hauser of Austria captured her sixth individual World Cup victory, surging to the finish line in Sweden to edge out Finland’s Suvi Minkkinen on Saturday. Hauser, who shot a perfect 20-for-20, finished the race with a time just 12.1 seconds behind Minkkinen at the start of the final lap, then powered through to claim the win.

The victory marks Hauser’s first individual triumph since winning the mass start event in Le Grand Bornand in December 2022, and is a significant result as the biathlon season continues.

Fellow Austrian athletes Anna Gandler and Dunja Zdouc also secured World Cup points, finishing 26th (+2:24.6 minutes, 2 penalties) and 35th (+2:47.6 minutes, 1 penalty) respectively.
