Megan Fox Joins Cast of ‘Five Nights at Freddy’s 2’ as Voice of Toy Chica
Megan Fox has been cast to voice the character Toy Chica in the upcoming horror sequel, Five Nights at Freddy’s 2, set to release in theaters on December 5, 2025.
The announcement was made yesterday at New York Comic-Con by producer Jason Blum. Toy Chica is a redesigned version of the character Chica, and serves as a key antagonist in the Five Nights at Freddy’s universe, first appearing in Five Nights at Freddy’s 2. MatPat will voice Toy Bonnie, and Kellen Goff will voice Toy Freddy.
The sequel picks up one year after the events of the first film, with former security guard Mike and police officer Vanessa attempting to shield Mike’s sister, Abby, from the truth about the animatronics. When Abby seeks to reconnect with Freddy, Bonnie, Chica, and Foxy, a new series of terrifying events unfolds. The success of the first Five Nights at Freddy’s film demonstrated the broad appeal of video game adaptations, paving the way for this highly anticipated follow-up. Scott Cawthon, the creator of the original game, penned the script, and Emma Tammi returns as director, with animatronic designs once again handled by Jim Henson’s Creature Shop.
Josh Hutcherson, Elizabeth Lail, Piper Rubio, Theodus Crane, and Matthew Lillard will reprise their roles, alongside new additions Freddy Carter, Wayne Knight, Mckenna Grace, and Skeet Ulrich. Fans can learn more about the origins of the franchise on the official Five Nights at Freddy’s website and explore the lore behind the characters on Wikipedia.
Production on Five Nights at Freddy’s 2 is currently underway, with further updates expected in the coming months.
