USA Fencing Announces Orlando to Host 2026-27 Season Opener
Orlando, Florida, will host the first North American Cup (NAC) of the 2026-27 USA Fencing season, providing athletes with an early opportunity to accrue national ranking points.
The four-day competition is scheduled for October 9–12, 2026, at the Orange County Convention Center, marking USA Fencing’s return to Orlando for the first time since 2023. This early announcement – even before the October 2025 NAC – demonstrates USA Fencing’s commitment to transparency and allows athletes ample time to prepare for the event. The NAC is a crucial stepping stone for fencers hoping to qualify for national and international competitions, including the Olympics.
“We’re thrilled to be partnering with the Greater Orlando Sports Commission on our second tournament in four years in the area,” said Glen Hollingsworth, USA Fencing’s Director of Events. “Orlando is one of the country’s premier destinations for sports and leisure travel, and we’re looking forward to welcoming premier fencers from around the country, as well as their friends and family, for what promises to be an incredible weekend, on and off the strip.” The tournament will include Division I events, featuring elite senior-level fencers, and Parafencing competitions showcasing adaptive athletes. More information about USA Fencing can be found on their official website.
Additional event dates and locations for the 2026-27 season will be announced at a later date. USA Fencing encourages members to save the dates and follow their social media channels for updates as the event approaches.
