Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto met privately with Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives Sufmi Dasco Ahmad on Saturday, November 22, 2025, to discuss a range of national issues and receive reports from across the country.

The meeting, held at Prabowo’s residence in Hambalang, Bogor, was documented in a post on the Cabinet Secretariat’s Instagram account. The frequent consultations between the President and a key legislative leader underscore the administration’s focus on maintaining close ties with parliament.

Photos from the meeting show Prabowo in his signature safari attire, while Dasco was dressed more casually. The discussion took place in Prabowo’s office.

Dasco presented Prabowo with letters and written reports from various regions, and the two leaders engaged in a discussion about current affairs.

“During the meeting, Prof. Sufmi Dasco Ahmad conveyed a number of letters and written reports from various regions. President Prabowo then discussed the development of various legal issues currently taking place in the country,” the Instagram post stated.

According to the Cabinet Secretariat’s Instagram account, this was at least the third meeting between Prabowo and Dasco this week. On Monday, November 17, the two met at the Presidential Palace to discuss plans for a comprehensive national athletic training complex and the overseas training of elite Indonesian athletes.

The Chairman and Daily Chairman of the Gerindra Party also discussed accelerating the downstream program, involving upstream and downstream sectors and active regional participation. Political and security matters were also on the agenda.

They met again on Thursday, November 20, at the Presidential Palace, where they addressed public concerns including the welfare of online motorcycle taxi drivers, land reform, and land redistribution benefiting local communities. Preparations for the 2026 Hajj pilgrimage were also discussed.
