Samsung is set to unveil an expanded line of “Bespoke AI” home appliances at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2026, designed to address evolving consumer needs with advanced artificial intelligence (AI) capabilities.
The South Korean tech giant is shifting its focus from simply adding more features to its smart home devices to delivering practical solutions that save consumers time and energy, and allow them to focus on priorities. This move comes as the smart home market matures, with increasing consumer expectations for seamless and intuitive experiences.
According to data from Eurostat, one in seven Europeans currently use smart home devices, demonstrating significant growth over the past decade. However, this expansion hasn’t always translated into increased convenience, with many devices plagued by complex settings, cumbersome controls, and reliability issues – like robot vacuums getting stuck.
Consumers are now demanding appliances that proactively understand their environments, adapt to their habits, and operate with minimal human intervention. The goal is a smart home system that integrates seamlessly into daily life, rather than adding to its complexities.
What Does “Bespoke AI” Offer?
Samsung plans to showcase these advancements at CES, which will be held in Las Vegas in early January 2026. Among the new products is an updated “Bespoke AI Laundry Combo” washer-dryer that automatically identifies five common fabric types, determines load weight, and assesses soil levels. This intelligent approach aims to reduce wash times and minimize damage to clothing.
The “Bespoke AI AirDresser” smart closet takes on garment care tasks traditionally requiring ironing or dry cleaning. It dries, dewrinkles, and can eliminate up to 99.99% of certain viruses and odors.
The “Bespoke AI WindFree Pro” air conditioner analyzes room conditions and automatically adjusts cooling to prevent discomfort and dryness, operating more efficiently and learning user preferences.
Rounding out the lineup is the “Bespoke AI Jet Bot Steam Ultra” robot vacuum, which can identify people, pets, obstacles, and even spills. It independently assesses whether it can clean an area without assistance and can navigate thresholds between rooms.
These devices are designed to operate within a unified ecosystem, sharing data and coordinating functions to further reduce the need for user input. This interconnectedness is a key element of Samsung’s strategy.
AI Integration and the Lithuanian Market
“We are increasingly talking not about the possibilities of technology, but about the cost of human attention and time,” says Eglė Tamelytė, Head of Communications at Samsung Lithuania. “AI functions are needed so that the user can devote time to more important things. If the device understands on its own what it is doing wrong or how to work more efficiently, it saves electricity, water, time and reduces the user’s daily fatigue.”
Rising energy costs are driving demand for energy-efficient appliances, while the growing emphasis on work-life balance is transforming homes into multi-functional spaces. The shift towards remote and hybrid work models has increased the importance of home comfort, air quality, and temperature control for productivity.
At CES 2026, Samsung is signaling a departure from the era of feature-packed technology towards a future defined by intuitive, interconnected devices that genuinely simplify daily life. Smart homes are evolving from a luxury to a practical necessity, and Samsung aims to be at the forefront of this transformation.
