The singer of Pies descalzos also expressed feeling “fortunate” to have been surrounded by true friends and supportive people during that time.
“It was the most beautiful thing, the friendship and discovering the true friends I have. Also on this journey of music, and this audience with whom I started a love story many years ago and that continues (…) It is perhaps the longest love story I’ve ever had,” she commented.

Argentine journalist Alejandro Wiebe then noted the boys’ musical talent. “They inherited that from you,” he said. “Yes, because not from dad,” Shakira joked before elaborating on her children.
“Both are very musical. Milan plays the piano, drums, guitar, now he’s learning bass. He has such an aptitude! Sasha has a beautiful voice (…) They are both very disciplined, and that’s something I’ve taught them since they were very young,” she said.
