President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan sent a message of goodwill to Latvian President Edgars Rinkēvičs, according to state news agencies. The annual observance commemorates Latvia’s declaration of independence from Russia in 1918, a pivotal moment in the country’s history and a symbol of its sovereignty in the region.
Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the UAE’s Vice President, Prime Minister, and Ruler of Dubai, and Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Presidential Court, also conveyed their felicitations to President Rinkēvičs through separate messages.
