Google: 1€ for the 1st month then 12.99€
Google is offering a subscription service starting at 1€ for the first month, with no long-term commitment. The service, known as Google One, provides expanded cloud storage and additional benefits for users of Google’s applications.
The standard monthly cost after the initial promotional period is 12.99€. Google One offers various tiers, beginning with a basic plan and extending to options with more storage and features.
According to information from Google, the service includes benefits such as access to the latest Google Gemini artificial intelligence features with higher subscription tiers. Every Google account already includes 15 gigabytes of free cloud storage shared across Google Drive, Google Photos, and Gmail, but Google One provides options for increased storage capacity.
Available plans include 100 GB for $2 per month or $20 per year, 200 GB for $3 per month, and 2 TB for $10 per month or $100 per year. A 2 TB AI Pro Plan is too available for $20 per month, offering access to Gemini Pro, Flow Pro, Whisk Pro, 1,000 AI Credits, NotebookLM Pro, Gemini in Gmail, Docs, Vids, and Google Home Premium Standard. These plans can be shared with up to five family members.
Google One was launched in May 2018, replacing previous paid services for Google Drive to emphasize its use across multiple Google services. As of May 2025, the service has over 150 million subscribers. The service is available on Android, iOS, and via the web.
The availability of a 30 GB Google One Lite plan exists in some countries, such as India. The expanded storage options offered by Google One are designed to address the increasing storage needs of users who rely on Google’s services for photos, videos, and files, potentially improving data management and accessibility.
