Dacia is preparing to expand its lineup in 2026 with the C-Neo, a new fastback model positioned between the Sandero and Duster. The vehicle, which bears styling cues reminiscent of Audi and Hyundai, has already been spotted undergoing road tests.
Images of the vehicle on public roads have surfaced online, generating a range of reactions from observers, with comments ranging from “somewhat unusual” to “very cool, especially for a Dacia.”

The new C-Neo will have a lower profile than the Duster SUV, but a higher ground clearance than the Sandero or Jogger. Dacia anticipates the C-Neo will measure approximately 4.40 meters in length. The decision to introduce a new model reflects Dacia’s strategy to broaden its appeal within the competitive European automotive market.
The fastback design features a steeply angled and relatively small rear window, a departure from the styling of other Dacia models. The vehicle’s aesthetic shares similarities with those of Audi and Hyundai vehicles.
Dacia is expected to offer the C-Neo with a hybrid powertrain. According to profit.ro, the company is considering a 1.2 mild-hybrid engine, available with and without LPG, as well as the new 1.8-liter Hybrid 155 engine recently introduced on the Bigster model.
The C-Neo may also be equipped with a 1.2 4×4 automatic engine with a 48-volt electric motor, which is slated for release on the Bigster and Duster later this year.
Production of the new Dacia C-Neo is planned for the company’s manufacturing facility in Mioveni.
