The hospital discovered suspicious activity in several employee email accounts around March 13, 2025, initiating an investigation that concluded on August 4, 2025. The investigation revealed unauthorized access to emails between March 12, 2025, and March 22, 2025, potentially exposing a range of personal data, including names, Social Security numbers, addresses, dates of birth, and medical information. This type of breach can leave individuals vulnerable to identity theft and fraud.
Specifically, compromised data may also include health insurance details – such as policy and Medicare/Medicaid numbers – and financial account numbers.
