The cross-country skiing World Cup continued today in Trondheim, Norway, with thrilling individual results in the 10-kilometer freestyle interval start. Sweden’s Ebba Andersson took the top spot in the women’s race,marking her frist World Cup victory of the season,while Norway’s Einar Hedegart achieved a career milestone with his first World Cup title on the men’s side.The performances highlight the ongoing dominance of both nations in the sport, as they vie for position in the overall standings[[3]].

Ebba Andersson of Sweden claimed victory in the women’s 10-kilometer freestyle race in Trondheim, Norway, securing her first World Cup win of the season. The race came down to a thrilling finish, with Andersson edging out fellow Swede Moa Ilar by a mere two seconds.

The Swedish team dominated the women’s competition, placing five athletes in the top 20. Jessie Diggins of the United States finished third, closing with a strong performance after yesterday’s win.

“It feels very good,” Andersson told SVT Sport after the race.

Jonna Sundling finished fifth, while Frida Karlsson secured eighth place. Emma Ribom and Maja Dahlqvist also posted strong results, finishing 13th and 16th respectively.

On the men’s side, Norway’s Einar Hedegart delivered a breakthrough performance, winning his first World Cup title. The Norwegian team showcased its strength, taking the top three spots in the event.
