ETFGI to Host Global ETFs Insights Summit in New York City November 5th

ETFGI will host its 6th Annual Global ETFs Insights Summit at The Yale Club in New York City on November 5th, bringing together financial advisors and institutional investors to discuss the evolving landscape of exchange-traded funds.

The day-long summit, running from 8:30 AM to 6:30 PM ET, will feature presentations and discussions on topics including regulatory changes impacting product development, the growth of active ETFs, and the increasing role of crypto and digital assets within the ETF space. Speakers include Kristina Hooper, Chief Market Strategist at Man Group, and Trace Rakestraw, Senior Special Counsel at the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission. A fireside chat with Rakestraw and Richard Vagnoni, Senior Economist at FINRA, will provide a regulatory update. The event aims to provide attendees with best practices for ETF due diligence, selection, and trading.

The summit will also address innovation within the ETF industry and changing demographics of investors, as well as practical guidance on launching ETF share classes. “Explore how regulatory changes are impacting product development including ETF and mutual fund share classes,” according to event materials. Networking opportunities, including a sponsored drinks reception by Waystone, are planned throughout the day. The increasing popularity of ETFs reflects a broader trend toward passive investing and lower-cost investment options, making events like this crucial for industry professionals.

Registration is free for CFA members, buy-side institutional investors, and financial advisors, with CPD credits available. ETFGI, a leading independent research firm specializing in the global ETFs ecosystem, also announced plans for a 7th Annual Canada summit on December 9th in Toronto. Further information about the New York summit and ETFGI’s research can be found on their website ETFGI.com, and more about ETFs generally is available from Investopedia.

ETFGI officials stated they will continue to monitor industry trends and provide educational opportunities for ETF professionals.
