Killarney-based wealth management firm Gallivan Financial announced today it is acquiring Tara Financial Partners Ltd, a Dublin-based financial advisory company, for an undisclosed sum.

The acquisition will boost Gallivan Financial’s total assets under management to over €850 million, furthering its rapid expansion across Ireland. This deal represents a significant consolidation in the Irish financial advisory sector, as smaller firms are acquired by larger, national players.

Gallivan Financial, majority-owned by the Gallivan family, has been actively growing through acquisition, adding five businesses in the last two years.
