Annapolis, Anne Arundel County Host Weekend of Fall Festivals

A variety of fall festivals and markets are taking place across Annapolis and Anne Arundel County this weekend, offering residents and visitors opportunities for shopping, entertainment, and seasonal celebrations.

The Annapolis Sailboat Show, the second of two major boat shows in the city this fall, began yesterday and continues through Sunday at City Dock. Daily admission is $32, with a discounted $22 ticket available to those with valid military ID on Sunday. The event features nearly 600 exhibitors showcasing sailboats of all makes and models, drawing boating enthusiasts from across the region and boosting local tourism.

Further south, the SoCo Farmers Market at the Deale Library will host an Oktoberfest celebration from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, alongside its regular offerings of produce and baked goods. Simultaneously, the 35th annual Art @ the Park festival will be held in Quiet Waters Park from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, featuring art, music, and food; this year, all booths are located outdoors due to renovations within the park’s Visitor and Blue Heron Centers. For more information on events in Anne Arundel County, visit the official Visit Annapolis & Pasadeena website.

On Sunday, the Magothy Maker’s Market will take place from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Mountain Road, featuring local vendors selling coffee, wine, baked goods, art, and handmade extracts. This monthly market, hosted by Magothy Roasting Co., provides a platform for local artisans and businesses to connect with the community. You can find a list of participating makers here.

Organizers anticipate large crowds at all events and encourage attendees to plan accordingly.
